WORK EXPERIENCE

Dr Khan worked as consultant Orthopaedic surgeon at Medical University of South Africa for a period of three years. During this period, he looked after Paediatric orthopaedics and lectured under as well as post graduate students. He continued teaching medical students as visiting lecturer until 2003.

He started his full-time private practice in 2001 and continue till to date. Due to his personal interest in sports medicines, he has been involved in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery since 2005. Though he has restricted his arthroplasty practice, but still performs primary knee and hip replacement surgery on selected number of patients.

He has vast experience in Medico-legal report writing for orthopaedic clients. He has been writing Medicolegal reports for plaintiff as well as defendant clients, especially for RAF clients. Furthermore, he has been writing such reports since 2008. He also has experience in writing Medico-legal reports for Medical negligence, but in selected patients.
